About the Event
Ella Clayton
Hailing from London, Ella Clayton is a songwriter and musician, whose storytelling ability and breathtaking voice casts powerful spells over each audience she encounters.
After living in Brighton and Berlin, honing her craft as a street musician, Ella returned to her hometown of London where she met producer, Lester Duval. The pair went on to record Ella's debut album, “Murmurations”, at the Bunker Studio, with help from friends Fabio De Oliveira on drums and Alex Crawford on guitar. This body of work manages to be somehow both spectacular and relatable, drawing you further into her world with every word. Ella is making waves on the live music scene, with sold-out, full band headline shows at the Waiting Room (Sept 22), the Folklore Rooms in Brighton (Jan 22) and St Pancras Old Church (March 23). This summer she supported Oscar Blue on the Cornwall leg of his UK tour, was invited to perform in Paris for the first time and was selected by George Ezra to play with her band at Latitude Festival. With new music in the boot and ample headline/ support gigs in the diary, Ella is one to keep an eye on.
Harry Nye
Harry Nye is an English singer-songwriter who grew up in Spain, in the city of Barcelona. He writes emotional, lyric-heavy folk music on piano and Spanish guitar about his life and childhood in Spain and, most recently, about loss. In late 2020, he moved to London to pursue his music career and begin recording his music with the help of his childhood friend and producer, Daniel Hunter Reith.
On the 1st September this year, Harry Nye performed a special show at the beautiful and iconic St Pancras Old Church where he presented his debut collection of music, including "Rest Your Eyes On Me" and "Heal" - both of which have received recent radio play (John Kennedy, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio). His third single “By Darro”, written in the shade of the Alhambra castle in Granada, came out end of October.
